Melt Blown

Melt blown is a high-performance, non-woven sheet made of special ultra-fine polypropylene fibers that are given electret properties through a specialized process. It is indispensable for products used to create clean environments, such as filters, masks, hair caps, and wiping cloths.Melt blowing is a conventional fabrication method of micro- and nanofibers where a polymer melt is extruded through small nozzles surrounded by high speed blowing gas. The randomly deposited fibers form a nonwoven sheet product applicable for filtration, sorbents, apparels and drug delivery systems.
